Scope and Contents
Facsimile of the inscription and general appearance of the plate of copper belonging to the coffin of King Robert the Bruce, whose remains were deposited in Dunfermline in the year 1329 and found on opening his grave 5th November 1819. The original plate was deposited with the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland by order of the Right Honble The Barons of Exchequer.
