Biographical / Historical
The Edinburgh Bio-Alliance (EBA) was formed in 1999 with funding from nine organisations and matched by European Regional Development Funding. Its main objective was to promote the successful business development of the bioscience sector in the Lothians. Its initial board was made up of individuals from LEEL, Midlothian Council, University of Edinburgh, Moredun Institute, MRC Collaborative Centre, Scottish Agricultural College and Roslin Institute.
