North Russian Association (founded in 1926)
Biography
Founded in 1926, the North Russian Association grew out of a group set up by emigrants from Arkhangelsk living in London after the Revolution. By 1 January 1928 it had 109 members. Its interests were cultural, and it organised five events a year such as lectures, concerts, and other performances. It also ran a Hospital Fund for those in need.
