Biography
The Scottish National Institution for the War Blinded is a voluntary organisation which was founded in Edinburgh in 1915 with the object of caring for Scotland’s sailors, soldiers, airmen and women who were blinded in the service of their country as a result of the First World War. The Institution also cares for those blinded in the Second World War and subsequent conflicts.
