The programme was aimed towards young people who wished to spend a more extended time of service (one to two years) in Latin American nations. Also includes training materials from Africa Inland Mission International intended for new young missionaries.

It is possible that the volumes could be drafts or summaries of The Task of the Christian Church, A World Survey, by Thomas Cochrane and published by World Dominion Press, London. Thomas Cochrane was the Chair of the Home Board of the Evangelical Union of South America.
