Poem beginning 'Gao an iar thar na Feiste, Ceo is uisge' which is described as having been composed by MÃ iri Nighean Alasdair Ruaidh to the MacDonalds after a meeting at Rodail [Roghadal/Rodel, Na Hearadh/Isle of Harris] at which the MacLeods and MacDonalds quarrelled. A vocabulary note reads 'Foirich = Pestle'. Text has been scored through as if transcribed elsewhere.
