Family history relating to Clann ic ill ria'aich and Clann ic Iosaig [Clan MacIlriach and Clan MacIsaac] collected from Hector MacIosaig [Hector MacIsaac], Kean Langabhat, Iochdar [Ceann Langabhat, Ìochdar, Uibhist a Deas/South Uist] stating that they were the only family allowed to live at Liadail [Liathdail] and that anyone outwith that family who tried to settle there would be 'thrown ab[ou]t his head'.
