Scope and Contents Song entitled 'Mac Iain 'ic Sheumais' collected from Mairead Donullach [Margaret MacDonald], aged 79 years, Gearrai iain, Malacleit, N[orth] Uist [Gearraidh Iain, Malaclete, Uibhist a Tuath/North Uist] beginning 'Na nead an eoin bhinnich, Bha [th]u innis na Ruai'. The song is composed of fifty lines and has been scored through in ink as if transcribed elsewhere.
