Precept of Sasine by John [Brown], abbot of Sweet­heart, for infefting Cuthbert Brown, son of the late Thomas Brown of Barbeth, in the eight merk land of Drum in the barony of Lochkindeloch, in the stewartry of Kirkcudbright, in terms of a charter of feu-farm. Reddendo, seventeen merks annually. Dated 18th March 1547-8.
