Manuscript letter addressed to "My Dear Jamie", and signed "Your mist affectionate & humble Servant John Pringle". The letter refers, among other things, to "the Diploma from the Royal Phil. Society at Gottingen", indicating that this letter is from Sir John Pringle (1707-1782).
