Biography

Dip. Social Study 1949. Jean worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker at The Royal Victoria Infirmary and at Kings College Medical School. While studying at Edinburgh she completed a thesis "The de-population and Re-population of the Highlands of Scotland" for which she won the John Craigie Cunningham prize. Originally from Cromarty, she died in the Black Isle aged 84.
