Biography
Dip. Social Study 1948. Stanley Raffan was born in Huntly. He graduated from Aberdeen University with a war concession degree in 1948. After gaining his Social Study Diploma he studied Divinity at Christs College, Aberdeen. He served 4 years in the RAF during which time he was posted to Canada, the West Indies, and India. He served as a Church of Scotland Minister in Ellon Parish. In 1977 he was appointed chaplain at the Crichton Royal and Nithbank Hospitals.
