Diploma in Social Study 1948. Mrs Chakraborty was the first Indian lady Psycho-analyst for treatment of mental patients and was in charge of the Female Ward of Mental Hospital run by Indian Psycho-Analytical Society, Calcutta [Kolkata]. Title of thesis: The Changing Attitudes of Trade Unions towards Employment of Women Workers, especially in the Textile and Engineering Industries".
