Scope and Contents This street still leads, at right angles, from Nicolson Street to the Pleasance. Richmond Lane runs north west from the Fork, corsses West Richmond Street and becomes Richmond Place (which leads through Roxburgh Place to Drummond Street). The whole area has been almost wholly rebuilt since clearnce began about 1930. Handwritten title by Alasdair Geddes. This must show the construction of, presumably, the main road linking London Road and Portobello Road, and Duddingston Road with Milton Road West, coming round the north-east side of Holyrood Park and Arthur's Seat. Handwritten title by Alasdair Geddes.
