Cert. Social Study 1954. A teacher from Budapest, Stephanie arrived in Scotland with her children from Russian occupied Hungary via France and London. One of her referees wrote of her: "I cannot speak highly enough of her deep humanitarian sympathies, her gentle kindliness and her quiet intelligence".
