Biography
Cert. Social Study 1939. Born Paisley, Scotland, 1917. She lectured in the Social Study department at Edinburgh University throughout the 1960s and served as a governor of Queen Margaret College, Edinburgh from 1986 to 1989. In may 1971 she was appointed the BBC's National Governor for Scotland and Chairman of the Broadcasting Council for Scotland. Died North Berwick, aged 90 years.
