Biography

John Baillie Miller was born at Clune, Perhshire in 1841, the son of David Miller and Christina Baillie. He studied at the University of Edinburgh before qualifying as a solicitor. In 1889/90 his address was Leslie Street, Blairgowrie. He served as clerk to the Police Commissioners of Rattray, clerk and treasurer to the School Boards of Rattray, Persie, and Bendochy, and as Burgh Fiscal and Sheriff Clerk Depute. He died at Blairgowrie in 1926.
