Biography
Probably James Graham (d. 1805, without issue), son of William Graham the agricultural improver. James was an EIC writer (appointed 1780), Collector (1793) at Calcutta, and puisne Judge, Court of Appeal (1801) at Dacca. On his death the estate of Airth, near Falkirk, fell to his brother Thomas (d.1836), captain of East Indiaman ships General Goddard and Busbridge.

A superb copy of the Persian "Book of Kings" and epic poem, the verse written by Abū'l-Qāsim Firdawsī ca. 329-410 A.H. (940-1019 C.E.).The present copy begins with a short preface containing a list of the ancient kings of Persia in genealogical order.
