Notes by Thomson titled Science and religion, 17 Jan 1955
Inscribed Monday 17 January 1955. I think this is the last thing Godfrey tried to write, by Lady Thomson. The notes are incomplete, ending abruptly. In them, Thomson explores how science and knowledge have changed our view of religion. They are written on the reverse of Twelfth International Congress of Psychology headed paper.
Notes for Thomson's lecture, The Nature and Measurement of Intelligence, 30 Jul 1928
Rough notes which take the form of lists of topics and corresponding examples Thomson wishes to discuss, and includes notes regarding different mental tests; genetic aspects of intelligence; social classes; and vocational selection.
Notes on Matrices, Bilinear, Quadratic, and Hermitian forms, c1930s-1940s
The notes read as explanatory rather than exploratory, and were most likely directed at students.
Notes regarding Charles Spearman's "the Abilities of Man", c1930s
One set of notes is in Thomson's hand, and largely constitutes calculations, while the other, titled Corrigenda, the Abilities of Man , is in another hand (possibly Emmett's) and lists errors in the Abilities of Man.
Notes regarding Thomson's article, "The Meaning of i in the Estimate of g " from "the British Journal of Psychology", vol. XXV, part 1, c1934
These compare Thomson's work to that of E B Wilson and Lee Irwin through notes, calculations, and diagrams.
