Biography
Wilfrid Scott was a son of Rev. Percy Stott, one of the founders of the Bible Churchmen's Missionary Society in China. In 1929 Wilfrid became Resident Tutor on the mission in 1929. He soon met Jessie [?] in South China, and they married there in 1934. Later, while Wilfrid translated the Gospel into the language of the country people of Thai descent, Jessie brought comfort and medical benefits to maternity cases. Interspersed with periods of preaching, teaching and learning in England and Kenya, Wilfrid's work in China stands as the major achievement of his life, receiving recognition in the loving welcome given him by former converts during recent visits there
