Letterbook of Dr James Arthur, Deputy Inspector General of Hospitals, containing copies and drafts of letters about his nephew William John MacKnight Craufurd of Cartsburn, Sir James McGrigor, private legal business, etc. Also satirical verses on Cardinal Wiseman. 1850.

Letters (2) from Sylvester Douglas, Lord Glenbervie to Richard Wharton, about oak plantations in the New Forest, etc., for naval timber. Office of Woods, etc. Dated 15, 26 October 1813. 2 volumes.

Three letters of John Wilson ("Christopher North") to Robert Findlay, also a letter of Andrew Wilson, his brother, and six letters of Alexander Blair to Findlay, about J. Wilson's life at Oxford, etc. 1804-1807.

Notes for sermons and lectures delivered at Duns [Dunnikier], Scotland, but also at Alloa, Burntisland, Cairney, Leith, Leven, Methven, Milnathort and Pathhead, probably by a secessionist minister. Two other preachers, Mr Armstrong and Mr Smart are mentioned, 21 August 1773 (p.18) and 25 August 1776 (p.180). 18 July 1773 - 25 Aug 1776. 2 vols.

Two personal diaries, possibly by a woman with the surname "Pearson". One covering 1915 (January, July-November), the other one covering the year 1932 (January to December), with a note dated February 1934. In them, the author talks of her daily life (a record of social engagements, domestic events and the weather), and mentions sending parcels for British soliders during the First World War.
