Autograph letter signed by Edinburgh surgeon Robert Knox to "Mr Neill", undated. It reads: "My Dear Sir, Many thanks for your kindness in not forgetting us: I do not think it likely that anything would be allowed to die for want of victuals with you. Yours very truly, R. Knox".
