Poem entitled 'Clann An Lir' and accompanying story, 4 April 1872
Poem entitled 'Clann An Lir' [Children of Lir] collected from Hector Maciosaig, Eachann mac Ruarai [Hector MacIsaac], Ceannlangabhat, Iocar, South Uist [Iochdar, Uibhist a Deas] and accompanying story which explains that the verse was said to the gravedigger when he was digging the grave of the Children of Lir in Larne, Ireland and explains the enchantment under which the children were put. Additions have been made to the text in pencil and ink.

Twenty six verses of Fenian poetry beginning 'Dearamad fhagha s an Iuthraich/Iuraich gun do rinn Fionn' probably collected from Eachan MacIsaig [Hector MacIsaac] Ceannlangabhat, [Ìochdar, Uibhist a Deas/South Uist], who, the note states, 'Learnt this from Ruairi Rua ceistir sa cheanna Tuath (Donallach) more than 50 years' [Roderick MacQuien, catechist]. The verses amount to one hundred and two lines.

Verse beginning 'A shiubhlas an rod mar a bheann' and accompanying archaeological note collected from Hector MacIosaig [Hector MacIsaac], Kean Langabhat, Iochdar [Ceann Langabhat, Ìochdar, Uibhist a Deas/South Uist]. The note states that 'Roilig ni Ruari is a raon bet[ween] two maolads with a big stone pillar...this pillar is Ni[ghea]n Ruari.'
