Scope and Contents Notes on a copper brooch given by Flora MacDonald to Isobel Macdonald who lived at Airi vulin [Airigh-mhuilinn/Milton, Uibhist a Deas/South Uist]. Isobel [Isobal nian Raoil] was one of three orphans taken in by Flora MacDonald, she married Eown Ross or Eoin mac Fhionnlai and had a son Donl mac Eown mac Fhionnlai [Donald Ross]. She died in 1863 or 1864 and her son died in 1866 aged 80 years. It is stated that Isobel used to tell of the many things she heard while she lived at Airigh-mhuilinn...
