The story tells how Niall Mòr acquired the right from Mac 'Ic Ailean [Clanranald] to Baile-bhaird at Staolaigearai [Baile a' Bhàird, Stadhlaigearraidh/Stilligarry, Uibhist a Deas/South Uist] and how his son Donald Gearr lost that right.
