Note of some Arabic versions of Apollonius' "Sectio Ratione" in the Bodleian Library, that possess Latin glosses by Edward Bernard, Gregory's predecessor in the Savilian Chair of Astronomy, and one other person. Bernard had wished to publish the works of the ancient mathematicians; this manuscript he found defective and abandoned, unable to translate completely.
