Ridgeway thanks Ewart for his comments about his own thoughts on the thoroughbred horse. Ridgeway hopes to have the paper printed by January 1903. Ridgeway thanks Ewart for the papers he sent him. He concurs that the typical striped Norwegian pony was rare in Scandinavia in the 11th century, and that they are mentioned in the sagas.
