This is an draft of a letter Ledermann sent to Lady Thomson in order to assist her in writing a biography of Thomson. Ledermann discusses how his professional relationship with Thomson commenced, the letters Thomson sent to him, and Thomson's methodology for solving mathematical problems.

The letter is written on the reverse of scrap paper with formulae and calculations.
