Summarised as 'Human Remains in Cave near Turbingen [?desent] by Schrieber in 1840-1841. Brings to Lyell's attention an incident not yet 'quoted by yourself or Mr. Huxley' of a discovery by his Egyptian medical student Billharz, near the village of Erpfingen, written up by Henry Schrieber. Refers to recent discovery at the cavern of Engis and in Neanderthal and urges Lyell to locate and consider this information.
