Typed case summary, notes, autopsy report, photographs, reports, charts and correspondence relating to female from Edinburgh and the Lothians aged 40 at first examination in 1950. Conditions mentioned include: vertebral aneurysm; subarachnoid haemorrhage; nystagmus; dysarthria; hemiparesis; suppurative encephalitis; facial weakness; epileptic fit; headache; cortical damage; pyramidal signs. Surgical and nonsurgical treatment given. Patient died in hospital.
