Typed case summary, autopsy report, note, reports, photographs and corresponence relating to male able seaman from Edinburgh and the Lothians aged 23 at first examination in 1943. Conditions mentioned include: head injury; headache; fever; cerebral abcess; oedema of the brain; wound infection; and acute septic encephalitis. Nonsurgical and surgical treatment given. Patient died in hospital.
