Scope and Contents
Typed case summary, X-ray films, photographs, notes, autopsy report, charts, correspondence and report relating to male soldier from Scotland (outside Edinburgh and the Lothians) aged 27 at first examination in 1944. Conditions mentioned include: penetrating mortar wound to left occipito-parietal region with severe residual difficulties; dysphasia; intermittent meningitis; and right-sided hemianopia. Surgical and nonsurgical treatment given. Patient died in hospital after several admissions.
