Scope and Contents
Typed case summary, report, black-and-white photograph, autopsy report, correspondence and chart relating to male prisoner of war from outside Great Britain aged 22 at first examination in 1945. Conditions mentioned include: intracerebral haemorrhage; left flaccid hemiparesis; concussional head injury; and generalised brain oedema with tentorial impaction. Surgical and nonsurgical treatment given. Patient died in hospital.
