Case summary and correspondence relating to male lorry-driver from Scotland (outside Edinburgh and the Lothians) aged 28 at first examination in 1942. Conditions mentioned include: haemorrhage, tuberculous empyema, pulmonary tuberculosis. No family history of tuberculosis. Surgical treatment given, including artificial pneumothorax. Patient discharged.
