Case summary and correspondence relating to female book-keeper in shop from Scotland (outside Edinburgh and the Lothians) aged 25 at first examination in 1939. Conditions mentioned include: cough with sputum, abdominal pain, fibrious pleurisy. No family history of tuberculosis. Surgical treatment given, including artificial pneumothorax. Patient died in hospital.
