Letters by James [Kennedy], bishop of St. Andrews, confirming letters granted by William of Forbace, canon of Aberdeen, and perpetual vicar of the church of St. Giles, Edinburgh, in favour of David of Cormok and other Friars Minors or Franciscans, according to their request for permission to serve God and observe the rules of their order, in the church or chapel of St. John Baptist, situate without the burgh of Edinburgh, and belonging in property to the church of St. Giles, providing that on their occupation ceasing, the chapel shall revert to the said canon, etc. Dated 18th, and confirmed 20th, November 1464.
