Charter by King James I, confirming a charter of sale (date not given), by John of Murrefe [Murray] of Ogilface, to Sir John Forstare, knight, the king's master of household, of the whole lands of Badlormy, in the sheriffdom of Lothian and constabulary of Linlithgow, to be held according to the terms of the charter of sale. Given at Edinburgh, 10th July 1424. Witnesses, William [Lauder], bishop of Glasgow, chancellor, Walter Earl of Athole, the king's uncle, John Seton and Walter Ogilvy, knights, Mr. John Cameron, secretary.
