Instrument of Sasine in terms of a precept by David Balfour, bailie for Mr. David Pitcairne, archdeacon of Brechin, in favour of James Ramsay, son and heir of the late John Ramsay of Dounfield, of the half of the lands of Dounfield in the shire of Fife, except one half rood. Sasine given 19th January 1514-15. Witnesses, Thomas Pitcairn, Andrew Ramsay, John Arnot, Thomas Kynnere, Alexander Adamson, and Sir George Burnete. David Gregor, notary.
