Instrument of Sasine following on a precept, dated at Melrose, 23rd January 1554-5, by James [Stewart], commendator of Kelso and Melrose, etc., for infefting Andrew Brounfield and Janet Dikson, his spouse, in conjunct fee, and their heirs, etc., in the five-pound lands of Pittillseuch, as described, in the sheriffdom of Berwick.
