Charter by King James V, following on a resignation by Alexander Schaw of Sauchy, confirming to him and Elizabeth Cunningham, his spouse, in conjunct fee, their heirs, etc., the lands of West Grenokschaw, with the ' auld castellsteid,' etc.; also an annualrent of 50s. from the lands of Johnstone, all in the sheriffdom of Renfrew, for the services due and wont. At Linlithgow, 14th January 1539-40.
