Scope and Contents
In the first letter, dated 26 Jun 1938, Thomson explains what he means by a profile correlation, and asks Ledermann to help him solve his difficulties with this, illustrating with matrices and calculations.
In the second letter, dated 4 Jul 1938, Thomson tells Ledermann that he is sorry to hear of his Father's accident, but hopes that he will enjoy the colloquium at St Andrews and visiting his Brother in Wales.
