Letters to Mr. and Mrs. Terence Verity dating from 1944-1953, on blue paper. Mrs.Verity was clearly a fan of the author's work and initial contact was made by her in 1944.
The letters include 7 Autographed Letters Signed (ALS) and 7 Typed Letters Signed (TLS). The first ten letters are from The Old Park, Devon, the later ones from 4 South End House, Twickenham.
De la Mare's letters comment on his books and matters related to them and make arrangements to meet for tea and dinner over the years, comment on those meetings, getting some books to her, the health and progress of their children and with some quite substantial asides.
