  1. TLS to Charles F. Scott, re writing his name on a photo with a scrap of verse, 16 February 1926
  2. TLS to T. Jones, re autographing books ("It would be nothing but a pleasure to put my name in any book you would care to send me."), 20 January 1931
  3. TLS to M.D. Hurley, in response to a letter received requesting information about Rupert Brooke's play, Lithuania: "I enquired of Mr. Edward Marsh ..... " (Edward Marsh was the literary executor of Rupert Brooke and editor of anthologies of poetry.), 30 May 1934
  4. TLS to Mr. Bacon, 21 August 1936, with unaddressed envelope, re Rupert Brooke ("his face stole into that fair, slightly perplexed smile of his") and meeting each other, 21 August 1936
  5. Two TLS to H. Schuman who was a rare book dealer based in Detroit MI, with envelopes, re signed copies of The Listeners and Songs of Childhood: "All I can say for certain is that the copy of The Listeners you mention was not sent to Joseph Conrad. I have two friends with initials J.C.", 16 October 1933 and June 1938
