Story entitled 'Mac O Croileagan Sgial Choise Cein' collected from Patrick Smith, S[outh[ Boisdale or Leth mhieanach S[outh] Uist [Ceann a Deas Loch Baghasdail or Leth-Mheadhanach, Uibhist a Deas/South Uist] 'in his own house'. The story tells how.... An accompanying note reads 'Heard this tale from a Canna man 40 y[ea]rs ago [about 1830]. Does not know his name.'
