Song probably collected from Donald MacColl, foxhunter, Glencreran, Earra GhĂ idheal/Argyllshire, beginning 'Chuir si mo chri air a phlosgail' and accompanying story, which describes how the daughter of Glencoe ran away with her father's piper Henderson to America. It also notes that 'She never did did (sic) good - always going round the shore to look out for her lover coming'.
