Scope and Contents
Charter in Sanskrit, on 3 copper plates, with seal on ring, issued by the Western Calukya Emperor Vijayaditya Satyasraya, son of Vinayaditya, conveying (after a historical introduction) the village of Sinhalavapura (?) to some Brahmins in Saka 622 (CE 700). A late and very inaccurate copy of a genuine document now lost. Ring is not cut.
