Waddington was a member of numerous committees and societies and was invited to participate in various academic symposia, seminars and conferences around the world. The scope and breadth of the events found here reflect the range of Waddington's interests, experience and expertise.

Arrangement
The material was arranged in a roughly chronological fashion. This order has been maintained, with a few alterations made to tighten up chronology. In the interests of simplicity, it was decided to keep the material in a straight 'list' format rather than try to impose any artificial divisions of genre, location or topic.
