The correspondence chiefly concerns various meetings and staff appointments. Also present is Swann's resignation letter as Principal (December 1972) and copies of two typescript reports titled 'Institute of Animal Genetics: Edinburgh University Liaisons with the Livestock Industry' and 'The Future of the Institute of Animal Genetics', both presumably written by Waddington.
