Biographical / Historical
It appears that Waddington assisted the work of the Colonial Research Office on a relatively informal basis after his involvement with Operational Research during the Second World War. Waddington was interested in how the techniques of operational research, particularly aerial photography, could be applied to development planning in the Colonies.
