Biographical / Historical
The Course in Embryology and Epigenetics was held at the International Laboratory of Genetics and Biophysics, Naples, from 06-18 April 1964, under the auspices of UNESCO and the International Cell Research Organisation (ICRO). Waddington was the Director of the Course, which was intended for 'molecular biologists, physicists, chemists, mathematicians and others who have not previously made a detailed study of experimental embryology, but wish to apply their knowledge to the problem of the control of cellular differentiation.'
